The Nepal decision

Nepal wasn't chosen for cost arbitrage. It was chosen because exceptional engineers lived there, because the culture valued craftsmanship, and because building something real required building it together. The founders spent months there before committing. They listened more than they talked.

Building the community

A thriving engineering community doesn't happen by accident. It required hiring carefully, training relentlessly, and creating space for people to grow. The Dutch office became the bridge. Regular visits, shared meals, mountain treks, and honest conversations about what mattered. Trust was built slowly, deliberately, and it held.
